Jetway BA-210 Pro - AM3 Motherboard Review Print E-mail

Recently PCWizKid reviewed the microATX MA3-785GP board from Jetway.  Today we look at a full size ATX form factor board from Jetway that supports the AMD's AM3 CPU's, the Jetway BA-210 Pro.  Unlike other Jetway boards I have reviewed this one is a mainstream budget board with the option for a mini WiFi adapter which is added to the board. The AMD785G Series motherboards offer two PCI-Express2.0x16 graphics slots. Two PCI-Express 2.0 x16 by x8 which delivers up to 4Gbyte/sec data transfer rates at each relative direction. The AMD785G motherboards also carry PCI and PCI-Express x1 slots for I/O peripheral devices. This motherboard supports Hybrid CrossFire function: when this function is selected through BIOS setting, the VGA Card on PE1 or PE3 and the integrated graphics chip together will activate a Hybrid CrossFire with and the performance will be increased 15% to 75%.

Conclusion

The Jetway BA-210 Pro has the necessary support and features for a solid mainstream PC.  Definitely while not a high end expensive board it has the support for the latest mainstream AM3 CPU's such as the Phenom II X4 910e which we tested and overclocked successfully to 3.1Ghz.  the BIOS settings are plentiful and the board was stable in providing the compatability with the hardware we used and Windows 7.  This board has a nice feature for WiFi which saves you the hassle on connecting a lan cable and also hsa 8 channel audio making it a complete board.  Also a SPDIF optical and coax output is included .   Overall Jetway has made a good product for the average user looking to get full support and features.
