For this review PCWizKid's test system uses the latest AMD Dragon II System Configuration.  This consists of a AMD Phenom II processor, a AMD 790FX based motherboard, and a new ATI HD Radeon 5800 series graphics card, specifically the HD5850 reviewed earlier.

PCWizKid was impressed at the superior performance the OCZ AMD Black Edition memory provided over all other tested kits.  Without even changing the default 8-8-8-24 timings it outperformed and proved to be a easy to overclock kit which our test system accepted hassle free and the AMD overdrive utility had no issues recognizing and setting up.  OCZ lives up to expectations with quality, looks and performance RAM once again proving that PC Enthusiasts modding their AMD system and looking for top quality should consider OCZ AMD Black Edition as their choice.
