PCWizKid has been waiting to review the Sapphire HD5830 video card for 2 reasons, one it bridges the gap between the HD5770 and the HD5850 which has a price difference of almost double, and secondly the cool styling and heatsink/fan combo Sapphire has added to its HD5800 series has been proven to be exceptional.
Sapphire caries an extensive lineup of the HD5000 series graphics cards, some come bundled with a game also and that's exactly what we are looking at today, SAPPHIRE is now introducing the HD 5830 in a Special Edition bundling the highly acclaimed Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. This card comes with 1GB GDDR5 at 1000Mhz (4000Mhz effectively) and 800Mhz for the core clock speed.
Comparing where the Sapphire HD5830 fits making it an attractive choice. Here is an idea on the $250 USD price point of the HD5830 to give you a better idea.

Video Review
Conclusion
As seen in PCWizKid's video review, you don't have to spend over $300 USD to get performance, the Sapphire HD5830 proves that it has what it takes to deliver close and at times better performance than a stock HD5850 when the HD5830 was overclocked specially. Sapphire has also made a smart choice in adding the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 which is a awesome game which benchmarked terrific results at high settings and resolutions. Sapphire equipped this card very well with a five heatpipe solution that kept the load temperatures in between 34°C and 60°C at full load at stock frequencies which is outstanding and lets not forget the quiet fan which was barely heard. When you piece it all together Sapphire bundles a power package of performance witha game you can put to test without a hitch! A PCWizKid editor's choice award.
